and hewn from hours of practice during cold winter evenings.In support
of their claim to be the best in Wales, Côr Meibion Caernarfon
can boast the rare achievement of three successive wins at the Royal
National Eisteddfod of Wales between 1994 and 1996. Since their formation
in 1967 they have "won the National" a total of seven times
and other successes include winning the Sligo International Choral Festival in Ireland, the B&l choral competition at St David's Hall, Cardiff and the Stena North Wales Choral Festival. They are, some would say, the Manchester United of Welsh Choirs! |
